A case of the Screaming Heebie Jeebies!

I’ll be at The National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center on Saturday participating in their Air&Scare event.  My job will be to talk about the sky falling in the form of meteorites.  Turns out, one of my samples will be an H Chontrite meteorite, which most likely comes from the asteroid 6 Hebe.  6 Hebe (pronounced hee bee) has a possible (though not confirmed) moon nicknamed Jebe (pronouced jee bee).

Science with a sense of humor is one of my favorite things…
